Obituary For John David Carter, Jr.

MR. JOHN DAVID CARTER, JR. – Age 53, of Calhoun, GA, formerly Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021. He was born July 27, 1968. He was of the Baptist faith. He was last employed at Circle K as a Customer Service Representative. He was a hardworking man that enjoyed spending time with his family. He is preceded by his parents, John David Carter, Sr. and Mattie Carter.

He is survived by his children, Malik Carter and Janya Carter; siblings, Michael Nathan, Pamela Carter, Carlos Smith, Carlas Carter, Edward (Latasha) Carter, and Demetris Carter; special friend, Rosalyn Andrews; best friend, Pastor Eugene (Claudia) Miller; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 P. M. at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Eugene Miller, Eulogist. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Interment; West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
