OCIE was a Proud student of Hubert English School and a 1965 graduate of Floyd T. Corry High School. She attended Morris Brown and Georgia College. A woman of many talents she freely shared her gifts with others.

Ocie freely gave of her time and talent as she lovingly provided tutorial services to individuals that needed educational support from elementary to collegiate levels. She was especially known for assisting family, friends and acquaintances with administrative paperwork. She also used her artistic talent to coordinate weddings and other celebratory events.
