Obituary For Joan Caroldyn Terrell - Blythe

MRS. JOAN CAROLDYN TERRELL – BLYTHE – AGE 79, of Rome, Georgia and formerly of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from an automobile accident. She was born on October 3, 1942. She was preceded by her grandparents, Ralph W. Shropshire and Mattie Fleetwood Shropshire, parents, Matthew Smith, Jr. and Ora Mae Shropshire, husband, Harry Terrell, son, Dwight Pollard, siblings, Barbara White, Jamaine Bolling, and Phillip Scott.

Survivors are her loving and devoted family, husband, Carl Blythe of Rome, Georgia; children, Dorcus E. (Marion) McCrary, Duncan E. Shropshire, Valerio M. Pollard, Tara (Corey) Terrell – Pennamon; aunt, Ardella “Susie” Shropshire; grandchildren, Camion Allen, Vaneicia Newsome, Tenace Newsome, Valeria Pollard, Travis Bark, Mia Grace, Ramona McKinley, Rashad McCrary, Darius Pollard, Demetrius Pollard, Jasmine Pollard, and Dominique Pollard; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00 P. M. at New Spirit and Truth Assembly Of Jesus Church, 487 Scoggins Street, Summerville, Georgia 30747, with Bishop V. T. Harden as Eulogist and other Ministers officiating. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
