Obituary For Darnell Copeland

MR. DARNELL “SPANKY”, “UNCLE D” COPELAND – AGE 52, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. He was born on May 12, 1969 to his late mother, Mary Ann Copeland Rogers. He was preceded by grandparents, Nellie M. Copeland and Joseph B. Copeland, Sr.; three uncles, Robert Copeland, Joe Copeland, Jr and Johnny H. Copeland.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one loving daughter, Aaliyah M. Copeland, Pop Charles E. Rogers I; sister, Kelly M. Rogers, brother, Charles E. Rogers, II; one niece, Kristina Prenell, all of Jacksonville, FL; dad, Glenwood Bly of Mattapan, MA; brothers, Glenwood Swain, Glinwood Carr; sisters, Tamika Swain, Tayisha Swain, Tonia Swain, and Raychel Carr all of Boston, MA; aunts, Jean (William) Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Eula Copeland of Conyers, GA, Frankie Copeland of Cincinnati, OH; four uncles, James E. (Teresa) of Dalton, Jesse L. (Diane) of Atlanta, Charles W. (Shirley) of Eastman, Maynard R. B. (Charity) of Fayetteville, GA, special friend (the mother of his daughter Malissa Dawkins, his daughter's grandparents, Mary Ann Scott of Valley, Alabama, George Scott of LaGrange, GA.)and other cousins, relatives, and friends.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Jones as Eulogist. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
