Tensy Carter Davis transitioned into eternal life on Monday, October 25, 2021 at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Charles "Babe" Carter and Joanne Brown-Carter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Shane Keller. Tensy was a 1986 graduate of Harrisburg High School, retired from the PA Department of Transportation with 23 years of service. Most recently, she was a Private Duty Caretaker and an employee of the Harrisburg School District. She loved people, particularly those in need and children. You could always find her doing something for someone or planning a celebration of some kind for those who knew and loved her. She was the life of the party. Tensy leaves to celebrate her life; her husband of 26 years, Albert Davis; her children, Brittany Davis and Kymire McKinney; her sisters, Tonya Bethea, Sylvia Brown, Carla Brown-Carter "Wheezy" and Nakeisha Lane; her brothers, Robert Carter, Thomas and his wife, Dianna Brown; Parker Brown, Keith Brown and Charles Brown and his wife, Jennifer Brown-Carter; her nieces and nephews; her godchildren, Rondre Horne and Taj Jones; a host of other relatives and friends Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Living Water Community Church, 206 Oakleigh Ave., with viewing 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
