My deepest condolences to the family. I pray you all find healing in these sorrowing times. From the times we played in the gravel pits in Tysonville to adulthood we remained friends. She was always a joy to be around. I will never forget your smile and hearing you talk about amiyah and aniyah. As the song goes: It's been a long day without you, my friend And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again. Fly high Alisha and watch over us. ♥️

Alisha you were one of the best women I know. I always admired how strong and confident you were in just being yourself and how kind and loyal you've always been, the reasons we became friends. We grew up in the same community but truly became friends in middle school and beyond. All the days of use playing basketball together and me & my Grandpa Pollard dropping you off after practice and games allllllll the way in the country, lol. It was a pleasure to do it, but girl those were some drives. As young adults we stayed friends and it has been so wonderful watching the woman & mother you became once we started our journeys into adulthood. I could go on with stories and talk about the 14yr FB thread I have between us always coordinating to hang when I was home from the Marine Corps on orders, holiday's, or just to visit. You cannot be replaced and you will be truly missed. -Your friend TINA JOHNSON (aka Nyakio Rivera).
