Obituary For Ms. Julia Goddard

Julia Brown Goddard was born on April 1, 1926, in Monroe County, Georgia. She was born to the late Mr. I.J. Brown and Ms. Amanda Traylor. She attended school in the Monroe County area. Julia confessed to the Lord and accepted Christ as her personal savior. She connected to the ministry at East Mount Sinai Baptist Church, where she sang in the Choir. Julia was united in Holy Matrimony with Mr. Andrew Goddard. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, a daughter, Ms. Lynell Goddard Bentley, and granddaughter Mrs. Veronica Childs Williams. Julia completed her earthly journey on October 3, 2021. Her beautiful, loving, and kind spirit will be remembered by her children: Ms. Mae Onnie Mitchell, Ms. Margaret Goddard Childs, Ms. Rubie Mae Goddard, all of Barnesville, and Ms. Carolyn Goddard of Thomaston: sons, Mr. Charlie A. Goddard, Mr. Bobby (Suzie) Goddard of Atlanta, Mr. Jessie (Len) Goddard of Forsyth and Mr. Anthony Goddard of Barnesville. Mr. Arthur Lee Goddard of Barnesville; and a host of grandchildren great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other family members.

Grave Side Service were held Friday, October 8, 2021 11:00 A.M. Greenwood Cemetery
