Harold Rudolph Tucker, 85 of Bowie, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 10th, 2021.

Harold was born September 3, 1936 to Otis & Jessie Tucker. He married Wanda Lea Harris on December 22, 1954 and together they had 5 children. He later married Peggy Lynn Woods on March 10, 1978 and gained 6 more children. Harold served in the United States Air Force from August 1958 to August 1964. Harold worked as a carpenter and builder for the majority of his life. He was also an ordained minister. Harold enjoyed trips with family members to Colorado and Branson, working in the yard, hanging out in his workshop, playing dominos and going to eat catfish. More than anything he loved reading his bible. The word of God was a very important part of Harold’s life. He taught his son's, Stanley, Steven, Stuart and Wayne how to be men of integrity and to do the very best job possible when building or remodeling anyone's home. He would tell them to do things right the first time and you won't have to go back and redo it. Harold believed in treating people with honor and respect. Harold was a family man and each year he looked forward to getting everyone together for a 'Tucker Family Reunion'. He will be missed by so many.

He is preceded in death by his parents Otis and Jessie Tucker, son Steven Dewayne Tucker, step-daughter Rebecca Sue Sanders, brothers Doyle Tucker, James Tucker and Robert Tucker, sister Patricia Tucker Hullett, half-brothers EJ Tucker and Raymond Tucker, half-sisters Thelma Tucker Boutwell, Irene Tucker Reed and Pauline Tucker Brown.
