Deacon Otis Warner Wright was born on August 2, 1936 in Harris County, Georgia to the late Turner and Vera Wright .

At an early age, he joined Mountain Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he was a faithful member and served as a deacon.

Otis retired from Columbus Carpet Mill with 42 years of service. He enjoyed watching wrestling and westerns.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother: Joe Walter Wright.

He is survived by his loving wife: Virginia; devoted daughter: Brenda (Richard) Walker of Columbus, Georgia; granddaughter: Kacey Walker of Atlanta, Georgia; sister: Lula Mae Maddox of LaGrange, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
