Elder Eric Doyle Lotharp was born on August 6, 1955 to the late Parker Lotharp and Jessie Mae Sturdivant Lotharp.
Eric was educated at East Union School, Marshville, NC.
He was a faithful member at God’s Word Only Ministry, Wingate, NC where he served as an Elder, Teacher and Elder over the Music Department.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Paullette Colston.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving wife of 43 years, Sarah Lee Lotharp of the home; his daughters, Delisa (Wade) Crowder of Wingate, NC and Stacey Lotharp of Indian Trail, NC; four grandchildren, Erika Lotharp, Makiyah Williams, Maddix Lotharp and Dashon Crowder all of Indian Trail, NC; one sister, Yvonne Bowman of Marshville, NC; four brothers, Pastor Louis (Brenda) Lotharp, Christopher Lotharp, Brian (Naomi) Lotharp and Kelly (Renee) Lotharp all of Marshville, NC; five aunts, Janie (Leroy) Colston, Maggie Hammond, Johnsie Thomas, Barbara Lotharp and Maxine Lotharp; one uncle, Steve (Mary) Sturdivant; two brothers-in-law, James Lee, Jr. and Richard Lee both of Wadesboro, NC; two sisters-in-law, Rosa Huntley of Monroe, NC and Barbara Taylor of Wadesboro, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The Services to Celebrate Mr. Lotharp's Life and Legacy were held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 4:00pm, Christ Bible Discipleship Worship Center, 1019 Unarco Road, Marshville, North Carolina. Interment followed at Westview Memorial Park, Highway 74-West, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
