I'll always remember Garey's quick wit and crazy sense of dry humor... I became acquainted with Garey through the environmental industry and am so blessed to have known him.. He taught me a lot when I first started out and throughout the years we would keep in contact from time to time... Today is his birthday, as I was thankfully reminded by my calendar... So Happy Birthday Garey, thanks for the many years of friendship, may you RIP.... Forever missed, never forgotten..

To Donna and all of Garey's family, whom he loved so deeply, Please know of my sincerest sympathies to you in this time of such great loss. You have been and remain in my prayers. I feel so fortunate and blessed to have had Garey as a friend. Even though we didn't see each other so much in these later years, the friendship we cultivated during our years of working together was for life. He was truthfully one of the most likable and enjoyable people to be around that I have ever known. I remember how he loved to laugh and was always smiling. He was the kind of person who made you feel better about yourself and the world just by being around him. He was excellent at his job and held an immense knowledge of his field of practice - he was like an encyclopedia when we worked together the many years he consulted with our school district. He had a story for every situation and could recall with incredible detail matters from the past concerning our buildings and others that he would share as was pertinent to whatever we were working on together. I was always amazed by that. When we needed him, he was there for us, as though we were his only client. Garey loved his family and his God. Both were a regular topic in our discussions. I will miss him very much. May you sense the perfect peace of our Lord as you remember and mourn the loss of Garey from your lives. John Hughes
