MR. ANTHONY DONELLE McLIN – Age 54, - Of Rossville, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. He was born on January 18, 1967 to the late Rev. Walter Lee McLin and Janie Mae Bryant McLin. He was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church where he played the bass guitar for the choir, and he formerly played for the Spiritual Highlights of Chattanooga. Anthony was a 1985 graduate of Rossville High School. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, TN. He was employed with Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital as the Director of Plant Operations. He served in the U. S. Army Reserves in the Persian Gulf War Operation Desert Storm. Anthony was a member of 100 Black Men of Chattanooga, avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan, loved motorcycles, and working out at the H.O.P.

Anthony leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife of seventeen years, Stephanie McCoy McLin; children, Xavier McLin, Chelsea Smith; granddaughter, Zaia Leigh McLin; bonus mom, Eula Mathis McLin; brothers, J. Walter (Teresa) McLin, Jimmy (Shannon) McLin, Johnny Mathis; sisters, Debbie (Michael) Johnson, Sharon (Calvin) Figgures, Donna McLin, Kathy Langford, Gwen Gilbert, Marilyn Pitt, Sherri Mitchell; mother-in-law, C. Renae Burse McCoy; father-in-law, Willie (Cherrie) McCoy; sister-in-law, Danielle (Kyle) Kalwary; brother-in-law, Dustin McCoy; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Robert Russell, Monza Sneed, Shawn Wilson, Sr., Christy Wilson, William Davis, Jr., Lesa Russell; other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 4:00 P. M. at Olivet Baptist Church, 740 East M. L. K. Blvd., Chattanooga, TN with Pastor Michael Montgomery as Eulogist, and Pastor Ronald Carson, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 12:30 P. M. for Committal Service. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
