Memorial service for Kimberly Cook, 57, formerly of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 610 Clanton Street, Opelika, Alabama 36801 with interment in Westview Cemetery, Bishop Kenneth Carter will officiate, Pastor Dennis A. Howard, Eulogist.

Kim was born April 1, 1964, in Auburn, Alabama to Mrs. Mattie Mae Tyner and the late Mr. Lazzern Emmith Cook, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Mattie Mae Tyner of Greenlawn, NY; one sister, Dr. Lexine V. Arthur of Woodbridge, VA; three brothers, Lazzern Cook, Jr. of Marietta, GA, William (Crystal) Banks of Woodbridge, VA and Tariq (Shannon) Tyner of Long Island, NY; six uncles, Lou Poma Cook, William (Janice) Burke, Jr., Larry Burke all of Auburn, AL, MacArthur Cook, Andrew (Angela) Frederick and Walter Frederick all of Opelika, AL; three aunts, Mary Lee Buchannon of Auburn, AL, Betty (Wayne) Gibson of Opelika, AL, Shirley Njaka of Maple Grove, MN; four nieces, Zuri Tyner, Penelope Tyner, Anais Banks and Jessica Banks; two nephews, Micah Tyner Banks and Williams Devon Banks; a host of cousins and friends.
