Pete,we met when Sherrie and I started elem school and thru the years I've seen you in various churches in the area. But when I saw you in my son's back yard, I was surprised because you don't know who you'll meet in your life. But being musicians,it's like that. So family, cherish the life he lived and let those moments be your sweet memories. 🥀Odell

It was so long ago, but Pete and I used to play together at revivals and musical programs at Antioch Holiness Church in Cross, SC. I was very young but Mr. Wigfalls would stop playing and tell me play the guitar with Mr Pringle. As I reflect, my uncle Jerome Bennett used to sing with Pete and his brother. Those days were great times because churches did not mind fellowshipping. At that time, Pete could play many more chords than I on the guitar and I used to take a peek at his fingerings (without him knowing) and go home and try to play those chords. To the family, Pete has finished the race. He is more happier and resting until that resurrection day! You will see him again! Love you! Curtis Brown
