Anthony Donelle McNair was born in Lumberton, North Carolina on May 24, 1975 to the late Betty Mae Brown and Roosevelt McNair, Jr. He departed this life on August 2, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

He’s preceded in death by his mother Betty Mae Brown; father: Roosevelt McNair, Jr.; brother: Carlos McNair and nephew: Bryson McNair.

He leaves to cherish loving memories, wife: Deborah Hayes McNair; sons: Tyrus Robinson, Ahmad Hamilton; daughter: Dominique Hayes; god daughter: Makayla Mills; brothers: Maurice McRae of Fayetteville, NC, Charles Brown of Red Springs, NC, Gary McNair of Raeford, NC; sisters: India Brown (Monica) of Raleigh, NC, Teresa McNair of Raleigh, NC; aunts: Brenda (David) Haywood and Leanice (Michael) Graham, both of Red Springs, NC; uncles: Robert (Edna) Brown of Connersville, PA, Neil Godfrey, Red Springs, NC; sister-in-law: Jacqueline Hayes, Jennifer (Jerry) Singletary; mother-in-law: Gloria (Robert) German; brother-in-law: Ronald (Shimeka) Hayes, Jr.; father-in-law: Ronald Hayes, Sr.; grandson: Ahmari Hamilton; special nieces: Olivia and Aubrie and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
