Obituary For Rodney Brown

BROWN, Mr. Rodney, a resident of Tuskegee, AL, passed August 1, 2021 at Community Hospital in Tallassee, AL. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 11:00 am in the McKenzie's Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Walter Pogue, officiating.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

I am still in complete shock and sadness about hearing my dear friend, Brother Rodney Brown, has gained his angel wings in Heaven. I can still see and hear him play such beautiful music as he always wanted to please the Lord. He was one of the most humble and sweetest people whom I ever met. He had such a passion for life! I'm devastated knowing my best friend is gone. His only goal in life was to see others happy. So glad we can see him and listen to him play on the Alabama Spirituals Cd. We were closer than a married couple and held more secrets than sibling. RLB will always be a part of my life.
