Obituary Betty Singletary Witchard

Betty Singletary Witchard (Pumpkin) age 79, of South Bay, Florida, entered eternal rest on June 12, 2021. Betty was born in Florence, South Carolina to the late Verdell and Janie Mae Singletary on January 3, 1942.
Betty moved to South Bay, Florida in 1946 at the tender age of four. Betty lived in South Bay where she met her husband Charlie Witchard. Together they raised four beautiful children.
Betty became a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church at the early age. She was a faithful member and served in serval ministries over the years as: Superintendent of Sunday School, President of the Senior Women Missionary Board and Church Treasury.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved mother Janie Mae Singletary and father Verdell Singletary.
Betty leaves to cherish her memories her beloved husband Charlie Witchard, her beloved children sons Dr. Jeffrey (wife Amber) Demetrius (wife Mattie) Craig (wife Paulette) daughters Valarie and bonus daughter Vivian. Siblings Joyce Singletary, Verdell Singletary and Phyllis Kigler. Grandchildren Jeffrey II, Eboné, Erika, Quintella Sutton (husband Dejuan) Craig, Cralisa, Shameka, Demetria, Messiah, Christopher Hobbs(wife Mylene), Linor, Crainesha Vickers( husband Preston) and Chavous. Her nieces and nephews: Veronica Bellamy, Sunee Singletary, Sonia Singletary, Sharon Singletary, Verdell Singletary ll, Tia Kigler and James Jackson
Betty was a beloved wife, mother, sister aunt and friend. She did not meet a stranger, she made everyone feel welcomed. She was dedicated to her God, family and friends. Her legacy of quiet strength, kindness, humbleness and perseverance will live on in her family.
We will miss you and love you always.
