When I first met her I was about five or six years old. She was a mild mannered person. I was never around her that much. I have never heard of anyone talking negatively about her. She would be greatly missed.

Our family offers an universe of thanks and gratitude for the neighborliness Mrs. Boyd extended to us for decades as absentee property owners in North Carolina. The one time we met when my father in his late 60s ventured back to his hometown of Valdosta to visit the Peterson lots on Devine St Mrs. Boyd opened her door and her heart to my dad, my mother and me. She did the same the following decade when one of my cousins sojourned to Valdosta tracing the literal roots of the family trees still standing. She has been instrumental in helping us be respectful neighbors from afar. Mrs. Boyd, your light will forever shine in the heart of the Albert Peterson family of Durham, NC!
