Graveside Services for Ms. Wanda L. Wright, of Decatur, will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021, 12:00 NOON at Kennedy Memorial Gardens, 2500 River Rd. Decatur, GA. 30294. Dr. Gregory L. Pollard, Officiating. Public Viewing and Visitation, will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2021, 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Enon Baptist Church, 3550 Enon Rd. Atlanta, GA., and Wednesday, June 30, 2021, 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary. Ms. Wright leaves to cherish, Vickie Y. Merritt (Emanuel), Connie Johnson (Bernard), Raymond Merritt (Anita), Schyuler Brown (John); and a host of other relatives and friends. I will always remember Wanda's very sweet, but "no-nonsense" approach to life. She would do anything in her power to help those for whom she cared. I send my condolences on behalf of me and my family, The Greshams, to the Wright and Merritt family. I met Wanda when we were children living on LaFrance St., Atlanta, Ga. She had a very sweet spirit. Years later I saw her at our high school alumni cookout and she still had her beautiful smile that I remembered. Family know that she's safe in Gods loving arms.

My "Pew Partner". We adopted that name as we often worshipped together from the same pew, left-front. A very sweet spirit. My sincere condolences to the family.

I meet Ms. Wanda in 2004 and a work friendship began. I would often give her a ride to the Fulton Government Center from her office. And we would talk and tell her my life stories. She was a great listener and a woman of her word. I asked about her a few weeks before she passed and I should have reached out and called her but I put off.
