OPELOUSAS – Memorial service will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Kevin James Pete, 43, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at his residence in Opelousas, LA.

Pastor Larry Mose of Cross Point Church will be officiating the memorial service.

Mr. Pete leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Ronald Pete,Sr.; his son, Dakaylin Pete of Opelousas, LA; five brothers, Adam Pete and Brian (Erica) Pete, both of Lafayette, LA, Travis Pete of Opelousas, LA, Derrick Pete of Arnaudville, LA and Ron’Darrius Pete of Lawtell, LA; three sisters, Stacey Batiste of Opelousas, LA, Desiree Pitre of Eunice, LA and Mariyah Pete of Lawtell, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.. He is preceded in death by: his mother, Ella Marie Freeman; paternal grandparents, Clenny and Melina Handy-Pitre; and maternal grandparents, Harry and Elta Thomas Freeman.
