Cousin Lizzie will always occupy a special place in the hearts of all family members and many friends and associates. This started for my wife and me when we were in elementary school. She and her husband Arthur Worked as a team and balanced all aspects of life. They became powerful role models and motivated us to crave education and to carve out a good life for our future. Mrs. Rose became the role model for our J Herbert Williams foundation that was chartered in 1989 in Pennsylvania. From a family of sharecroppers she was the first one to obtain a college degree. Therefore, My late wife and I as founders honored her because of her achievements and dedication to family, her church, Claflin University and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. The legacy of Arthur and Elizabeth Rose will motivate me for the rest of my life. Our foundation Awarded over 150 scholarships To J Herbert Williams Scholars. In 2020, The Foundation evolved into the Endowed Edward S. and Febere Miles Williams Scholarship. Respectfully submitted by Edward Shepard Williams, MD

Mrs. Rose was such a lovely lady. I enjoyed having her as my college adviser at Claflin. Whenever I needed help she was always in her office upstairs in Seabrooks Gym. It is so sad to hear she passed.SIP Mrs. Rose!

In the Great Commission we are given one of the greatest commandments: that we love one another and Aunt Elizabeth was a complete elucidation of that word. My father, her baby brother always spoke nothing but praise for her. I honor her for all she did for him and am certain that they are rejoicing in Heaven. Your Nephew Joseph Daniels
