Tallahassee - Lamar C. Johnson, Sr., 98, a retired Leon County Schools educator, took his eternal rest on Thursday, May 20, 2021, in Tallahassee, FL.

Graveside service, with military honors, will be 10 A.M., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Southside Cemetery. Viewing will be from 12 (Noon) to 6 P.M. Friday, May 28, 2021 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

Forever cherishing his love and memories are his three sons, Lamar Johnson, Jr. (Daisy) of Gainesville, FL., Robert Johnson (Merlene) of Tallahassee, FL., and Anthony Johnson, Sr. (Shirley) of Monticello, FL.; one sister, Inez Williams of Tallahassee, FL.; one sister-in-law, Christine Mills (Ellis) of Camilla, GA; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
