Everett James Sankey, known to many as Byrd, was born in Bartow, Florida on January 24, 1967. He was a loving, devoted soulmate, friend and husband to his Loving wife of 22 years he had a daughter, Evereonna Sankey, born June 16, 2000. She was a sweet, obedient, humble Daddy’s Girl. From birth, he cherished and loved her with all his heart, and she felt the same about him. They were inseparable in life and will continue to be together in death. Everett was the dream husband, father, uncle, and friend. He was really an exceptional man. He was hardworking and dependable. He was devoted to his loving wife, his family and extended family. Love, loyalty, and trust were his core values. He made loving him so easy. So much more could be said and still, there would not be enough words, to express how genuine he really was. Evereonna Jamie Sankey was the kind of child that parents dream of. She was very responsible and knew the importance of education. She was a great student and was dual enrolled at Florida Southwestern State College while still in high school. She graduated nursing school and was waiting to take her State Nursing Exam. She had a passion for dancing and was the captain of her step and dance team, Kreationz, at East Lee County High School her senior year. However, what she loved most was her daddy. She was daddy’s angel. Everett Sankey leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 27 years, Mrs. Teresa Sankey of Lehigh Acres, FL. Four (4) Sons; Tyler Sankey, Trevor Sankey of Bartow, FL, Roger Addison, Raymond Addison of Lehigh Acres, FL. (4) Daughters; Artirah Washington of Bartow, FL, Mynita Hudson of Mulberry, FL, Tereda Addison of Arcadia, FL, La’Tresa Tillman of Lehigh Acres, FL. His father Emory Osbourne and his mother Gwendolyn Osbourne of Lakeland, FL. (4) Brothers; Willie Sankey of Winter Haven FL, Nathaniel Davis of Huntsville, AL, Lorenzo Davis of Bartow, FL, Vincent Davis of Lakeland, FL. Three (3) Sisters; Alison Watson of Winter Haven, FL, Erica Sankey of Winter Haven, FL, Bobbie Dumus of Birmingham, AL. Eighteen (18) grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
