Walter R. Johnson

Of Washington, DC, passed away on April 21, 2021, at Sibley Memorial Hospital due to complications from leukemia. Left to cherish his memory are his loving sister, Laverne; his godmother, Dorothy Bledsoe; and a host of relatives and friends. A lifelong Washingtonian, Walter excelled in his talents as a singer, entrepreneur, and youth violence advocate. Walter recently celebrated 35 years clean and sober.

He will be truly missed and will remain in our hearts forever. A memorial will be held later in the year when Covid restrictions allow.
