My favorite memory of Mr Clayton was sitting across from him at our wedding rehearsal dinner and holding his hand in my hands and expressing my love and gratitude for giving me a wonderful husband. I will miss watching him step away from his tv to give hugs and kisses when we stopped by for a visit. He was always kind to us and even though he never quite said it, I knew he was proud of his sons and his grandkids. I will treasure the last day that we shared with him and how his last gesture made us all chuckle and I thank God for the sweet memory our kids will cherish forever. ❤️Marcela Jolivette.

Shirley, Terrell, Drake, Joyce, Betty, Eugene, Ruby, Jeannette and the entire remaining Jolivette family members, I mourn my cousin's passing with you. Cherish and behold the wonderful memories and I'm sure there are plenty, you have of him for it's the only thing left when we lose a loved one. I have a few memories myself. When I was kid, my father, Clayton's uncle, would take me for him to cut my hair. And growing up, I'd pass by his workplace and I'd look to see if I'd get a glimpse of him to say hi. It wasn't hard to identify him for he had that unmistakable fast walk that was so characteristic of the Jolivettes. I'm extending my heartfelt condolences to all of you and please know and be consoled that he's in a far better place and is at peace. Love to all of my dear cousins.
