Obituary For Jeffery T. Landers

Mr. Jeffery Thomas Landers, 55, of New Albany, IN, died on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Mr. Landers was a native of Louisville, KY and the son of Robert (Sr.)and Shirley Landers and was a member of Southeast Christian Church. He was employed as a roofer working in construction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery Landers, Jr. and Shawn Landers; three brothers, Robert, Mike and Gary Landers.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Landers (Lauren), Dakota Landers (Melissa) and Tyler Montgomery; one daughter, Brooklyn Montgomery (Tanveer) all of Louisville, KY; one sister Becky Payne (Mike) of New Albany, IN; two brothers, David Landers (Judy Pryor) of Louisville, KY and Jim Burkhead (Susan) of Sellersburg, IN, his significant other Kathy Vincent and eight grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Heady & Son Cralle Funeral Home in Louisville, KY with Pastor Tony Terry officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm.

I was one of Jeff's basketball coaches in his 8th grade at St. Joseph's in Butchertown. I will always remember his great smile and awesome sense of humor! He was a pretty good player, too! I lost touch with Jeff after theSt. Joe days, but thinking about Jeff always brings a smile to my face. He is in my prayers.
