Funeral service for Larry Edward Abernathy 76, will be Saturday, March 6, at 2 pm at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Tommie Croom, III, officiating.

Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Mr. Abernathy passed away on February 27, 2021. Survivors include his children: Tina (Samuel) Nickles, Larry Abernathy Jr., Thomas Abernathy, Regina (Kevin) Riley; son in-law: James Morris; grandchildren: MAJ Samuel (Jayna) Nickles, Larry Abernathy III, Benjamin Morris, Christopher Abernathy, Chasiti Abernathy, J'Christian Morris, Myles Morris; great grandchildren: Isabella Nickles, Naomi Nickles, Jasiah Abernathy; siblings: Barbara Harmon, Homer J. (Yvonne) Abernathy, Wayne Abernathy, Donald (Starla) Abernathy, other relatives and friends.
