Reverend James Harvey Bullock, Sr., 81, of Pollocksville passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Public viewing hours are 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday at Oscar's Mortuary, Inc.

His service is 11:30 AM, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Trent River Oakey Grove Headquarters 465 Georgetown Rd., Jacksonville. The interment will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Floral arrangements are not accepted at the State Veterans Cemetery. The family will accept plants and vase arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Fisher Bullock of the home; two sons, Dwayne Bullock, Sr. of Richlands, NC and James H. Bullock, Jr., Pollocksville, NC; two daughters, Vetta Bullock, Brooklyn, NY and Jaimee Bullock Mosley of New Bern; five brothers, Charles Bullock and William Bullock both of Enfield, NC. Frank Bullock and Clinton Bullock, of New York, William Harvey of Newport News, VA; two sisters, Irene Overton, Brandywine, MD and Mary Scott, Winston-Salem, NC; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
