Obituary For Louis E. Hairston

Louis E. Hairston, 76, of Stoneville, died February 22, 2021. A public viewing will be held Monday, March 1, 20201 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Perry- Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. The family will have a private service and LIVESTREAM WILL BE AVAILABLE Tuesday, March 2,2021.

Minister Louis E. Hairston was called home with the Lord on Monday morning, February 22, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem, NC. He was born on July 15, 1944 to the late Sam and Annie B. Hairston in Ridgeway, Virginia. Louis was a member of Mayo Missionary Baptist Church. He loved God first and foremost. He answered the call from God to preach on October 25, 1992. Louis was a proud grandfather who love spending time with his grandchildren. He was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed spending his leisure time playing golf, working on and racing cars. Louis was married May 30, 1967 to Gracie C. Hairston and to this union two children were born, Kimberly and Kevin. They were married for 54 years. Louis was also preceded in by death by his brothers, Calvin, Sanford and Kenny Hairston.

Louis leaves to cherish his memory: his wife; Gracie C. Hairston of the home, one daughter; Kimberly Hayes (Stephen) of Greensboro, NC, son; Kevin Hairston (Aimee) of Stoneville, NC, four grandchildren; Ashley and Ciarra of Greensboro, NC, Raaven of Stoneville, NC, Nickolaus of Charlotte, NC, four great-grandchildren; Xyla, Zyon, Zander and Zane of Greensboro, NC, three brothers; Charlie (Gail) of Stoneville, NC, Gerald (Ronda) of Martinsville, VA, Kerry (Melinda) of Charlotte, NC, four sisters; Rebecca Watkins (Dwight), Paulette Hailey, Remona Walker all of Martinsville, VA, Thelba Elliott (Roy) of Charlotte, NC, three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
