Beverly Delores Alexander, 68, of Bessemer City, a retired bus drive and textile worker, departed this life on Tuesday, February 02,2021 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC surround by her family.
She was born June 02,1952. She was a native of Bessemer City, NC, daughter of the late Robert Wheeler and Willie Margaret Alexander of Bessemer City.
After an injury, Beverly lived in Charlotte NC for 3 years. She returned back home to Bessemer City at the end of December 2020. Where she was reborn, repented, believed and received Christ Jesus as her savior again. It was not how Beverly had started her race but how she was finishing it.
Beverly was known in our family to always keep up with every one's birthday's, no matter how old or young you may happen to be. She would buy birthday cakes making your day the more special. We will truly miss these delicious gifts.
Beverly was well known to speak and make friends with everyone. If it was only waving as the vehicles drove up and down highway 161, yelling out the back door or just in passing down the hallways of the center. She was going to make others feel welcome and cared for.
She leaves to cherishes her memories: one beloved daughter: Kimberly Ann (Leonard) McMullen of Shelby, NC., four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one devoted sister: Willette Alexander of Kings Mountain, NC., one beloved brother: O'Lando Derrick Alexander of Washington, D.C., one beloved uncle: Bobby Hall of Maryland, two special cousins: Shane Ward Belk of Charlotte, N.C. and Darryll Douglas (Gene) Ward of Kings Mountain, N.C., two special nieces: Cherise Alexander of Maryland and Stacy (Dewayne) Fortenberry of Bessemer City, N.C., and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
