Curtis "Catlac" Harrison, 63, of Barton St., Martinsville, VA, departed this life on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Virginia on December 25, 1957, the son of the late Ellis Fuss Harrison and the late Stella Virginia Johns Harrison.
Curtis was a member of Divine Faith Holiness Church, and was a 1975 graduate of Martinsville High School. He was disabled.
Curtis leaves to cherish his memory, four daughters, Curtsher "Allan" Thobbs, Brittany (Ryan) Harrison and Crystal Smith all of Martinsville, VA, and Letasa (Derek) Hairston of Greensboro, NC; seven grandchildren, Rontiah Hairston, Rontasja Hairston, Celena Thobbs, Kayla Cabiness, Tobias Agee, Amiya Prunty, and Kalia Prunty; five great grandchildren, Mason Harrison, Asher Stroud, Ava Stroud, Ayden Hairston, and Adrian Hairston; three brothers, Ellis (Diane) Harrison, Jr., Tim (Wanda) Harrison, and Chester (Tanya) Harrison; two sisters, Brenda R. Johns and Carolyn Finney both of Martinsville, VA; his two dogs, Sheba and Barlow; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Elder Marshall Wells, Eulogist. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering and social distancing will be required. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens.
