Mr. Jeffrey Scott of Warren County, North Carolina departed this life on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service. The Reverend Rickey Bell, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Jordan Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon, North Carolina.

He leaves a legacy of love : his wife, Evelyn Johnson Scott of the home, three daughters, Rachael Reid Taylor (Juan) of Louisburg, North Carolina, Jacquelyn Morrison (Reggie) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Juanita Wilson of Nashville, North Carolina one son, Kenneth “Kenny” Reid (Letonia) of Hollister, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Paris Laster (Johanna) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Gage Mills, Stephanie Reid, Brianna Taylor, Garas Reid, Jeremiah Wilson, and River Grace Morrison; two great- grandchildren, Nova and Rain Laster; two sisters, Sandra Drummond (Andre) of Warrenton, North Carolina and Allean M. Scott-Anderson (Leon) of Towson, Maryland; three sisters-in-law, Elois P. Scott, Katherine Richardson and Ardine Johnson; four brothers in-law, Eugene Johnson, James Payne, Lister Johnson and Willie Richardson along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He may be viewed on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 5:00pm at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.
