Mrs. Katherine Kearney, age 93, of Durham, North Carolina formerly of Warren County, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Duke Hospice-Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Friday, February 5, 2021 in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services. The Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr. Pastor will officiate and burial will follow in the Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two son, Craig S. Kearney (Delphine) of Durham, North Carolina and Garrett M. Kearney, Jr. (Rev.Sandra Kearney) of Irvington, New Jersey; seven grandchildren, Shawn Kearney, Jeremy Kearney, Jerrod Kearney (Dr.Tinita), Michael Williams and Kim Williams (Wilson); six great- grandchildren, Rashawn Williams (Jazymn), Sandra Spann, Kaylah Spann, Jayde Kearney and Jaxon Kearney; two great-great grandchildren, Zamir Williams and Leah Williams; two brothers, Gillis Harrison (Mary) and Thomas Harris (Barbara) both of Littleton, North Carolina, two sisters, Gloria Harrison of Littleton, NC and Lottie Atkinson (Fred) of Greensboro, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Massenburg Kearney (Bettye) of Warrenton, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Joann Harris of New Jersey along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
She may be viewed on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 12noon until 1:00pm during family hour in which the family will be present to greet relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral attendance will be limited to 50 guests or less; therefore, we ask that you pay your respects during the viewing and visitation to allow the immediate family to attend the funeral service. Safety Measured will be enforced at the service.
