Curtis “Jay” Holt, 62, of Louisville passed away on June 21, 2021 at Hosparus Inpatient Unit. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 3:00PM at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road.

We all remember him as Jay, the Curtis was rarely used. Curtis Jay passed this January 21,2021 at the age of sixty-two. He will be missed, that hearty belly laugh of his and the happiness that he could spread. He loved life and he loved all people, he truly followed Jesus’s greatest commandment to love one another. Jay did not meet a stranger.

Jay played football for Seneca High School and later he went to Whitney Young Job Corp to become a brick layer. He attended Highland Park Church as a child , later in life, he attended when he could. He has left behind in memory a daughter, Curtisha, three sisters, Yvonne Colyar, Pamela Stone, Robin Tunkara, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
