Sylvester Wayne Wilson, 65, of Harrisburg, passed into eternal life on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at UPMC Osteopathic Hospital. He was born in Chicago, IL, son of the late Donnell Wilson and Addie Bell Honey (Riley) Crawford; a 1974 graduate of Harrisburg High School, served in U. S. Army Reserves, attended HAACC and received his Master of Human Services from Lincoln University and was an employee of Mazzetti & Sullivan where he was a Drug & Alcohol Addiction Counselor and in his leisure, he enjoyed comedy, music, especially jazz, shopping and spending time with his family. Sylvester leaves to celebrate his life; his wife of 39 years, Susan Brown Wilson; his daughters, Keisha C. Ordaz (Michael), Brandi N. Wilson (Aaron), Samantha M. Ajayi (Hakeem) and Sydney C. Wilson (Marquies); his five grandchildren; his three siblings, Andrew L. Wilson, Yaivetti L. Mathes and Violda L. Collins; his stepfather, Roosevelt Crawford and a host of other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 23 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with visitation 11:00 a.m. until Noon. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and six feet social distancing for all attendees.
