Nancy was born November 29, 1957 in Durham, North Carolina. She spent the majority of her life in Durham until she and her husband Bobby relocated their family to Hillsborough in 2007 shortly after the death of her mother. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her uncles, Joe and Donald Jones; and her grandparents who helped raise her, Nancy and Irvin Jones. Family (blood-related or chosen) meant everything to Nancy and she went to great lengths throughout her life to hold those that she loved close. She was known for her strong devotion and kindness. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Capps; her children, Amanda Pulley, Alan Pulley and wife Teisha, Elizabeth Capps and husband Tim Clark, and Clayborne Flowers; her grandchildren, Jaia Grady, Nathaniel Flowers, Darius Robinson, Jaylen Pulley, Amaya Flowers, Keyon Robinson, Kris Robinson, and Aiyana Liles; her great-grandson, Legend Robinson; her sisters, Lucy Bradshaw and Judy Murray; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 25, 2021, 1:00 pm at American Cremation & Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
