Calvin Lewis was born in Holmes County, MS on September 28, 1971 to Mrs. Mary Ball and the late Mr. Sammie Kitchens.

Calvin received his education through the Durant Municipal Separate School in Durant, MS.

He worked for the University of Chicago as a senior accountant.

He was kind and respectful, and always wore a smile on his face whenever you would see him.

Calvin Lewis was called home to rest on January 14, 2021.

Left to cherish his memories are: Mother, Mrs. Mary Ball, Fiance' and future wife, Marquita Mosley, children, Bianca (Calvin) Hester, Corderral Lewis, Kalvin (Britain) Lewis, Briana Lewis, Bria Lewis, Briera Lewis, Brena Raickett, Jayla Lewis, Jayden Lewis, Jamaria Banks, Jasmine Mack, sister: Demetrail (Michael) Mitchell, special brother Jeremy (Pee Wee) (Monica) Huntley, grand-daughter Kaylei Lewis, godparents Rebecca and Charles Kurns; and one son Corderral Lewis and his grandmother Elnora Lewis to precede him in death.

Also left to cherish his memories are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends that loved and cared for him.
