Obituary For Davis Calvin

OPELOUSAS- Visitation service will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Davis Calvin, 57, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System. Graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Interment will immediately follow. Mr. Calvin leaves to cherish his memories: his four sisters, Jerry Tillman (Lowell) of Houston, TX, Ella Joubert of Opelousas, LA, Sylvia Bailey (Darrell) of LaPlace, LA and Lisa Calvin of Patterson, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Lucious and Ella Malveaux Calvin, Sr.; two brothers, Lucious Calvin, Jr. and Leonard Calvin; maternal grandparents, Rayfield and Olivia Malveaux; an uncle and aunt who raised him, Raymond Malveaux and Lee Anna Jones Malveaux; and other uncles and aunts. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
