Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Saint Peter Lutheran Church in Bowie, with Rev. Larry Knobloch officiating.
Burial will follow at the Saint Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Bowie.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Norman Beyer was born June 9, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York, son of Paul Henry and Beatrice Elizabeth (Steup) Beyer. Mr. Beyer worked as a church school teacher in the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod for 38 years. His service included congregations in New Jersey, Illinois, and California. Norman was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod of Bowie, Texas.
Mr. Beyer was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Eleanor Marion Beyer, nee Potratz, whom he married on July 10, 1954, and who died on November 23, 1996; brother Peter and his wife, Beverly; brother-in-law Charles Potratz and his wife, Shirley; brother-in-law Hubert Klose; and sister-in-law Rachel Tiechelman.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Geis Beyer of Bowie, whom he married on November 17, 2001; a daughter, Lois Mullaney of Acworth, Georgia; three sons, Paul and wife Peggy of Casper, Wyoming, Andrew and wife Reba of Elgin, Illinois, and Daniel of Elgin, Illinois; stepsons David and Kenneth Geis of Bowie; granddaughter Meghan Mullaney of of Marrieta, Georgia; sister Janet Zimmer and husband John of Alexandria, Minnesota; and step-brother-in-law Norman Dietz of Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
