Greetings: I have been a long time friend and classmate of Alphonso since elementary school. All I have known of him is a mild mannered, nice person with a decent sense of humor. When I heard of his transition I was struck with a sadness that has lingered day by day. I am praying for his family and friends, that God will reach a place in your hearts that only He can heal. May God help us all with this great loss. This was the 50th reunion year of DHS class of 1970. Rest in Peace Al you will never be forgotten! Pastor Shawlin Dunn "Jesus wept." St. John 11:35

I too worked with Al. He was a gentle soul and cared for his fellow employees. I recall one birthday, we filled his car completely full of balloons before he left the office that day. As he approached the car (of course we were watching), the look on his face was priceless and he came back inside with THAT smile and subtle chuckle that only he could make. RIP Al Timberlake...you were one of a kind and special to so many. Susan Cox
