Obituary For Daisy Harrington

Proverbs 31:25 โ€“ 26, 28

Strength and honor are her clothing: and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom, and in her tongue is the law of kindness. Her children arise up and call her blessed. Give her of the fruit of her hands: And let her on works praise her in the gate.

The first date records when she entered time and the second date marks her exit. The children she raised, the education she had attained, and the goals she had reached are encapsulated by one hyphen between those dates. All the loving she received and gave, all the challenges she overcame, all the men and women she motivated โ€“ all she accomplished is now simply a slash between two dates.

Dear Mel and Anna, memories of your amazing mother are deep in my heart. Her life radiated love as she cared for our family. She communicated and lived her love for Jesus in a way that few are able to to do. She was an angel in our midst for sure. Her smile is a gift and treasure in my heart. All of the Sizemore family are with you in prayer.

I first met Mother Daisy in 2013 when I married and moved to Greensboro. Each Sunday I greeted her, she shared a smile with me. Her smile. Thank God for the few minutes I had with her and that smile of love and joy she shared with me. Praying the family's comfort and peace as they celebrate her Homegoing. To God be all the glory! Aunt Dasiy was one of the most encouraging people you would ever want to meet. She encouraged me every time we saw each other. When I went into the ministry she always sent me an encouraging word and I appreciate that so much. It taught me that God always has an angel just for you. To my family, "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" Blessings Rev. Linda Harrington Wharton (Tim)
