In Memoriam ANDREW LEE LAMPKIN 1958-2020 Andrew Lee Lampkin 62, was born to Vanola Ingram-Lampkin and Willie Lampkin Sr. In Belzoni, MS. He was the youngest son of 13 children that came from the union. His parents and six of his siblings have transitioned preceding him. Minnie Lee Lampkin-Hall, Vanola Lampkin, Elmer Lampkin, Virginia Lampkin-Magee, Joseph Lampkin and Nathaniel Lampkin. His siblings that will always cherish his loving memory are, Willie Lampkin Jr, Gloria Lampkin-Nix, Anne Lampkin, Eddie Lampkin and Arra Lampkin-Seals. Andrew attended Blackburn Elementary and Provine High Schools, He was an avid athlete in baseball, basketball and football. HIs favorite team was the Chicago Bulls. He attained this certification as a Master Welder and certified chef. He worked on various construction sites throughout Mississippi and worked for G&O Manufacturing until their closing. He continued to work as an independent welding contractor during this period. He worked at many restaurants in all capacities including head chef for many in his best capacity cooking,which was his passion he loved it. He enjoyed traveling to Memphis, New Orleans, Gulf Coast, Atlanta because of exquisite cuisine that he would turn around and cook at home. He loved the outdoors, putting his hands in the soil landscaping keeping the yard immaculate. He loved to work out, bike riding, going to the beach, park and walking in beautiful spacious places. He loved African art, culture and attire, enjoyed going to Kwanzaa, listening to music, festivals and concerts. Shania R. Williams, his special granddaughter, was a great joy to him; she kept him in stitches with laughter and smiles on their faces. His robust laugh and smile will never be forgotten. He is loved and remembered by all that knew him for his warmth. He is survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins. special friend, N.Marie WMS
