Mrs. Alicia Yvette Woods was born in Gadsden, AL on July 23, 1985 to Zerlene Verges and the late Norman Jerome Ford. Alicia was baptized at an early age and joined the Overcoming Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ where she was a member of the choir. She received her education in the St. Clair County School System. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who loved to spend time with her family. She departed this life on December 8, 2020 in her home in Riverside, AL. Alicia was preceded in death by her father, Norman Jerome Ford, paternal grandparents Clifford and Alice Ruth Ford and aunt, Nedda Williams Mother in law- LeeNetta Ann Woods. Alicia leaves to cherish loving memories to her lifelong partner, best friend and husband LeeBrandon Curtis Woods; daughter, Alexiana Lashae Woods; sons, Brandon Jerome Woods and Braxton Lee Woods; mother, Zerlene (Michael) Verges; sisters, Nora Williams, Denitria Ford, and Christy (Jerod) Brock; brothers, Taurus Ford and Zachary (Anna) Bothwell; father-in- lawKenneth (Bearnice) Fomby; grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Jones; sister-in-laws, Tracey Woods, Tanisia (Steven) Byers, Anndrea Woods & Seema Fomby; brother-in-laws, Michael Woods, Anthony (Latera) Woods, Ken Fomby and Kevin Fomby; eight nephews, five nieces; special son, Devin Hackworth; a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Public Viewing will be 5-6 p.m. Friday, December 11,2020 at Overcoming Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 12,2020 at Overcoming Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ with interment to follow at Ashville Cemetery.
