Obituary For Mr. William Phillips

Mr. William Hill Phillips, 86, a lifelong resident of High Point passed away Wednesday November 18, 2020 at The Shannon Gray Rehabilitation & Recovery Center. He was born to the late James and Bessie Phillips. He was united in marriage to Vee Sawyer Phillips for 62 years, who also proceeded him in death. He was a retiree of The Hatteras Yacht Company. Surviving are sons, Ronald Lee (Gwendolyn) Phillips of Gilbert, AZ and Bernard (Marie) Phillips of Kernersville, NC; brother, Willie Phillips of High Point, NC; sister, Betty Phillips Roberson of Greenville, NC; grandchildren, Jason Phillips, Demetrius Phillips, Darius Phillips, Andrea Phillips Williams, Averina Bagley, Sarah Wilson, Brandon Wilson; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Carolina Biblical Gardens. Mr. Phillips may be viewed on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
