Mrs. Dorothy Louise Rawls March 25, 1947 October 11, 2020

Dorothy Louise Rawls was the first of seven children born to James and Hesttenor Echols on March 25, 1947. She began her Christian journey at the Blue Spring CME Church and joyously attended until her health began to fail. She attended La Marion School in Columbia, MS and worked briefly for Sanderson Farm.

Dorothy was married to the late Samuel Rawls. To this union no children were born. However, her life was filled with the love and attention of a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hesttenor Echols.

She leaves to cherish her memory eight siblings, Wendell Echols, Sr. (Carolyn), Cora Allen, Mary Jones, Matthew (Lydia) Echols, Judy Echols, Charles Echols (Dion), Allen (Mary) Hall and Ruby (Andrew) McLemore; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and brought her much joy.
