Obituary For Linwood Randolph Burton, Sr.

Linwood Randolph Burton, Sr., 85, of Chesterfield, passed on October 8, 2020 from complications of heart disease. He was the 9th child born in Chesterfield, VA to Willie and Carrie Cox Burton. He is survived by his devoted son, Linwood R. Burton, Jr.; daughter in love Sharon (Shae); two stepdaughters, Trudy Epps and Wendy Epps Layne; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Alto Mae Holt and Lucy "Stella" B. Chery: brother, Alexander H. Burton, Sr.; host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, October 19 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 20 at First Baptist Church Centralia, 2920 Kingsdale Road, N.
