Obituary For Ms. Eloise Clark

Ms.Eloise Clark 65, of Lilly GA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday October 7, 2020. Graveside Services for Ms. Eloise Clark 65,of Lilly GA will be held Saturday, October 17 ,2020, at 11:00 a.m. by immediate family only at the Forest Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Pinehurst Georgia. Public visitation will be held Friday October 16 from 3-6 p.m.

Eloise Clark was born on December 19, 1954 in Lilly, GA, to the late Bridgie Mae McClendon Clark and the late Coley Clark, Sr. She was educated in Dooly County and a proud graduate of Vienna High and Industrial Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Eloise was a jokester and enjoyed being around her family. Whenever she wasn’t at a family function or visiting, she made time to shop and browse yard sales. Eloise had a passion for helping others. Her love for people showed through her caring spirit and her contagious smile. If she could give any assistance, she didn’t hesistate to do so. Her career as a certified nursing assistant began with Pinehill Nursing Home in Byromville, GA. She completed over 25+ years there at that facility. She later was employed by Southwest Georgia Easter Seals in Vienna, GA, where she loved being a houseparent. She was indeed a people person. As her final job, Eloise was employed by Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cordele, GA. Her love and admiration will truly be missed by all of her patients whom she diligently served and co-workers she worked alongside daily. On October 7, 2020, Eloise was set free from the cares of life after a job well done. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coley and Bridgie Clark; son, Tommy Lee Clark; brother, Charlie Murrell; and sisters, Etha Lee Seay and Earlene Towns Precious memories of her life will be cherished by her loving children Michael Clayton of Lilly, GA, Martha (Keith) Dumas of Byromville, GA, and Stephanie Clayton (Andrew Grant) of Cordele, GA; grandchildren, Tomeisha Sanders, Jantoria Sanders, Teneisha Clark, Ma’kerria Clayton, Ashley Joiner, La’darius Clayton, Andrew Grant, Jr., and Makayla McCants; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Clark, Thelma Smith, Dorothy Clark, and Rosie McGhee; brothers, Earl (Myrtice) Clark, Rev. Coley (Patricia) Clark, and Joe (Lorretta) Clark; two special neices whom she referred to as her other daughters, Patricia McKellar and Tammie Clark; and host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a mulititude of sorrowing friends.
