Mr. Oliver Lee Willis was born to the late Mrs. Margaret Reeves Willis and the late Mr. James Gregory Willis on January 15, 1951 in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. He attended public school in the Upson County School System. When reached young adulthood he went to work on the farm as most young men did during his time. Farm work was never too hard for Oliver. He enjoyed being outside and working. He was employed by McCrary Farm for many years. He made friends on the farm that lasted his lifetime. During his leisure time he enjoyed fishing and working. He knew how to make friends and enjoyed being with them. He made friends with anybody and everybody. He was very much loved by his family and his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mrs. Emma Lou Johnson, three brothers, James Willis, Arthur Louis Willis and Marshall Willis, and a sister-in-law, Sherry Willis. On Thursday, September 17,2020, at the Providence Health and Rehab, the Lord called him home from labor to reward. His warfare with sickness came to an end and he went home to rest. He will be greatly missed by all who love him. He leaves to mourn his passing one sister, Mrs. Bertha Worthy of Thomaston, GA; a devoted friend, Mrs. Pamela Glanton of Thomaston, GA; several sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
