July 16, 2020 Dearest Friend and Sister, Deborah. My heart is deeply saddened when I realize you are no longer here. Then I see you now, in your new home, and I realize you are experiencing the grandest kind of freedom, peace and rest. You have exchanged your burdens for a luminous robe. There is a jeweled crown upon your head and the smile you wear and the glorious light in your eyes exude a joy and loveliness beyond any earthly comparison. As I see you, thus, my dear friend, my sad heart is lightened. My weeping is for me, I realize, for your soul soars in splendid perfection. Thank You, Father, for Deborah. My life is enriched because she was here. A lovely rose in my garden of friends, she now adorns Your fair land. Embrace her for me, for I was not blessed to give her that farewell embrace. Tell her once again that I love her and in my memory, she will always be near. Farewell, Sweet Lady. You are loved by me and I will miss you as I find deep comfort in knowing that you are now very literally in the precious, nail-scarred hands of the Savior you loved and longed to see. I love you forever, Grace

Condolences to the Brooks family. Mrs Deb and I were coworkers before she retired from GE. There were so many great memories of us in the Blades area. The dinners, the laughter and that big smile that she always had.
