Ms. Mary L. McBride Curtis, Walnut Street, Louisville, GA departed this life Thursday, July 2, 2020. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 2:00 at Spring Bethel Benevolent Society Cemetery with social distancing and face mask. Viewing will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home, Louisville, GA Ms. Curtis was a native of Jefferson County born to Eddie "Toby" and Callie McBride. Mary worked for the City of Louisville as Recreation Director at the Louisville Center for forty-four years, ministering to many children as well as adults. She was Founder, Director and Advisor of the Jefferson County Physical Fitness Club which consist of a very outstanding group of ladies serving the community. Survivors include her children, Yvonne (Jimmy) Cason, Irvington, N.J; Taron (Doreen) Curtis, Louisville, Georgia; grandchildren: Shakirah Cason (Adam) Hodges, Atlanta, GA; Taron Curtis Jr., Tareek Curtis, Taniya Curtis, Louisville, GA; Nesean Benefield, Augusta, GA; great grandchildren, Veronica Cason, Xavier Hodges, Atlanta, GA; Riley Curtis, Lyvriee Goodson, Augusta, GA; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
